The Problem

Low carbon generation and energy storage systems (ESS) are “dumb”. This means that they do not dynamically respond to the changing physical & financial signals without external, intelligent management As such, they are not able to optimise the physical requirements for the Grid to operate successfully and determine the optimal actions to maximise the the financial returns for owners.

Without additional “dynamic intelligence” low carbon systems will deliver sub-optimal results for all involved.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the integrated hardware / software solution to enable optimised energy control strategies as a service - allowing asset owners to access optimal financial returns, the network operators to achieve optimal power flows and society to achieve its zero carbon goal.

What We’ve Achieved

  • Integration of real-time GridGEM data acquisition & analytics to create GridLENZ

  • Collection of over 2 million data points per day across our sites

  • Development of machine-learning based prediction engine for demand & generation

  • Development of optimised energy storage control strategies

  • Development of real-time dispatch platform for single / aggregated sites
