Before joining Argand Solutions, Robert spent 28 years across different major businesses as a control systems & maintenance engineer.. This involved running the production line at Coca Cola, managing the installation, design & commissioning for an engine test cell business and control systems integration at sites across the Globe..

At Argand, Robert has been the main control system developer for our GridGEM energy management solution - taking business led strategic designs and implementing them for major commercial & industrial projects.

Lead Data Scalability Engineer

Glyn has a background in software engineering with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Plymouth (2:1 2008-2013). During his course he took two years out to gain commercial experience at a website design agency.

Not long after graduating, he took a position at an equity based crowdfunding company where he learnt valuable skills in cloud based infrastructure scalability and programming.

Glyn as worked with Argand Solutions for the last 9 years - contributing to many projects ranging from data processing for hundreds of meters to a scalable message management to help facilitate real-time, remote asset control.

Glyn is a firm believer in the power of data to allow clients to make more informed decisions particularly in regards to energy management.

Lead QA Engineer

After completing military service in South Africa, Gordon undertook an electrical engineering apprenticeship in Zincor, a global Zinc manufacturer. After qualifying and working within the engineering automation industry, he studied Business Administration at University of Johannesburg (BTec, 2006) and then continued to work within the industry focusing on troubleshooting and problem solving - including as a Factory Manager for Corobrik.

Gordon’s focus at Argand is to implement effective quality assurance and testing processes to ensure our solutions meet the high standards required. Gordon’s passion is in working to develop and implement control solutions to streamline commercial energy operations & requirements.
