After studying Economics & Mathematics at Bristol University (1991 – 1994, IIi), Fraser worked for 10 years in investment finance where he focused mainly on Equity Derivatives. Leaving in 2004 to pursue a different career, he travelled for 2 years and decided to apply his skill set to climate change & sustainability.

For the past 12 years at Argand Solutions, Fraser has predominantly focused on the development of the data analytics & software elements of the business. Fraser is passionate about the development of solutions to enable better, rapid decision making – leveraging the power of data & control.

Technical Director

Having studied a BEng in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nottingham (IIi Hons), Ben worked for 15 years as a Control Systems Engineer for two main businesses where he managed and delivered significant industrial-scale projects whilst also attaining his Chartered Engineer status..

In 2012, Ben undertook a Master of Science (MSc) in Marine Renewables at the University of Plymouth before starting Argand Solutions with Fraser. As a result of his significant experience over 25 years, Ben manages the design and manufacturing process for delivering Argand’s bespoke energy systems whilst also providing consultation on energy management solutions and the implementation of intelligent control systems - providing a full service from early phase development through to deployment and commissioning across wind, solar, energy storage Combined Heat & Power (CHP) and load management.
